There are a lot of things that can be put together to make me. Those things all have something to do with my family or personality. What makes up my life is very important to me. My family strongly supports and encourages me in all of it!
My sketchbook is a sign that I love to draw! Most of the time when I pick up a pencil to draw, it’s for fun. Sometimes when I have something serious on my mind, I draw for a purpose. Drawing guides me down the path of a fun and creative life. The kind of person I am is partially determined by my love and passion for art.
A book to me is like a million dollars; it’s my prized possession. My love for reading cannot be put into words. When I read books with a good lesson, it may change my thought for certain actions. It’s something that helps me gain great power and skill in writing. After reading a good book, I become more fluent or learn something new. Books are a big part of me because they highly increase my imagination. Education is important.
I have a necklace that says, “I love my church”. That necklace just shows my love and respect for religion. It’s a big part o my life and character. It help’s me learn to treat others as I treat myself. I try to be kind and fair to those who I meet and know. My church is where I’m at almost every Sunday. It’s one of my favorite places in the world. All of the people are nice and you are respected and loved.
My grandma gave me a heart-shaped necklace one time when I visit her in Nebraska. It has a thin chain and a strange texture. Its golden glare in the sun gives me a feeling of my love for her and the rest of my family. This necklace resembles my love and care. I truly appreciate my family and what they do and would risk for me.
I have a Beanie Babies collection. One of my grandma’s collections inspired me, so I started one, too! When I look at it, I’m reminded of my determination to meet my goals. I usually do accomplish my goals, and if I don’t, I get the motivation to try harder when I get another opportunity to try again. I keep collecting, and it makes me happy. I think of my cool collection as a unique piece of my personality.
My cousin and I always put on funny plays for our family. The roles are played with stuffed animals. My grandpa took a picture of one of our play scenes, and my cousin and I each got one for our photo albums. Every time I page through my pictures, I can feel the warmth of my family’s love for me!
